SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 5 SPECIFICATIONS

Samsung profits plunge

The fact is that Samsung requires some outstanding specifications and features with its next range of mobile devices. The reason for this is quite simple; Apple is currently walloping Samsung in the marketplace. UPDATE – 19th June 2014

Recent news via GSMArena.com proclaims that European Union and South Korea has signed up an agreement to focus on the development 5G network technology and communications. European commission consented to invest around €700 million for the next five years for 5G development. 5G networks will provide immense faster speed and better network too. There the officials also mentioned that 5G network will take time to be provided to the public and will no roll out until 2020 – 2030. This news just confirms that we should not expect Galaxy Note 5 to be launched with 5G variant in any of the country. It will be too early for the firms to develop this. 

UPDATE – 17th October 2014

At last, the rumors of Google’s new OS has gone away after the official launch of Android v5.0 to be called as Lollipop recently. Google confirmed the release of its new OS with the launch of Nexus 6 on 16th October. The new OS comes with slight new interface and enhancements. Now, the specs sheet for Note 5 includes this new OS as it will be coming in-the-box Operating System in this phablet. Rumors have moulded towards the inclusion of V5.0 of Android now though the previous speculations have flooded away which included v4.5 Milkshake Android OS. Moreover, We believe that till the phablet’s release Google will be infusing another brand new Android OS 6.0 to be named Android M which could be expected to land in Samsung’s fifth phablet.

UPDATE – 3rd December 2014

A recent report coming right back from a native website of Samsung’s hometown says the forthcoming year, Korean manufacturer will bring its own made Graphics processor/Chipset. The news further says the firm is on the shore to complete the production of  its own GPU and will be launching it in the middle of the coming year. The rumor predicts that the next phablet is going to arrive with Samsung’s home-made GPU as well as CPU. Though there will be other variants as well.

The original Galaxy Note cost £599 inc VAT when it launched. The Galaxy Note 2 cost £550 inc VAT when it launched. Both the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 4 cost £599 inc VAT when they were released.
