Although Microsoft is a no-show at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, there is no stopping the speculations pertaining to the company's products. 

There are reports saying that Microsoft will make an appearance during the next big tech event, the Mobile World Congress in March, to announce the successor to the Nokia Lumia 1320, dubbed as Lumia 1330, although it is still believed that Microsoft's phablet will arrive in the second half of 2015. The speculations came about because of Nokia's alleged plans to launch flagship devices later this year. However, Microsoft's lips are tight shut and has not spilled details regarding the device.

The Microsoft Lumia 1330 features a 5.7-inch IPS LCD multi touch display with 16M colour, HD resolution (720 x 1,280 pixels) leading to a pixel density of 258ppi. The ClearBlack panel is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass to avoid from accidental scratches.

The Microsoft Lumia 1330 is packed with a 1.7GHz Krait 300 dual-core processor sitting on Qualcomm MSM8930AB Snapdragon 400 chipset. Assisting it in executing multitasking is a solid 1GB RAM. The Adreno 305 graphics unit takes care of intensive games and movies. Integrated with DirectX 11 3D API, the phone promises to render immersive graphics and quality sound. It runs on the latest Microsoft Windows Phone v8.1 and comes pre-loaded with various Microsoft utilities.

Camera and Storage

At the back of the Microsoft Lumia 1330, you can find a 14MP PureView snapper which supports LED flash, panorama, geo-tagging, face detection and is fluent in shooting full HD videos at 30fps. It is accompanied by a 5MP camera at the front which is good for capturing selfies, recording 1,080p videos and video calling. It boasts of a massive 32GB internal memory.

Battery and Connectivity

Keeping the Microsoft Lumia 1330 juiced up for a decent period of time is a 2,000mAh Li-ion battery. The connectivity and networking features come in the form of 4G (selected markets), 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Mobile hotspot, USB port and GLONASS.

The Microsoft Lumia 1330 is one of the the much awaited smartphones of the year and successor to the popular Lumia 1320. It has a big display backed by Snapdragon processor and provides rich multimedia experience with DirectX 11. It offers access to a host of latest Microsoft Office services via the latest 

Windows phone platform.
