Samsung Galaxy Note Edge lands at US Cellular on Jan.7
The seemingly "limited edition" Samsung Galaxy Note Edge keeps spreading to more and more carriers across the world. In the US of A, it's so far been offered by AT&T, T-Mobile, as well as Sprint. This week, though, a new company will jump in and have the Note Edge up for grabs. We learned back in November 2014 that the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge would launch at U.S. Cellular, and now we know exactly when that release will take place.
U.S. Cellular pinged us today to reveal that it’ll begin selling the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge on Wednesday, January 7, for $0 down on an equipment installment plan or $399 with a two-year commitment. The Note Edge that’ll launch at U.S. Cellular is the same one that first debuted last year, meaning that it’s got the following specs:
- 5.6-inch 2560x1440 Super AMOLED display
- 160 pixels on the side Edge screen
- 2.7GHz quad-core processor
- 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization
- 3.7-megapixel front camera
- 32GB of storage
- microSD card slot
- 3GB of RAM
- 3000mAh battery
- Android 4.4 KitKat
U.S. Cellular has offered several of Samsung’s recent flagship smartphones, so it’s not entirely surprising to see that the Note Edge will hit USCC too. Still, it’s exciting that U.S. Cellular customers will get the chance to own Samsung’s curved edge smartphone without having to switch carriers or anything like that.
Have you used a Galaxy Note Edge yet? If so, what do you think of it?
